1st Snow Day

With a couple of inches of snow on the ground the girls were finally able to try out their snow suits. They looked like they could play a stunt double (triple?) for Ralphie's little brother in 'A Christmas Story'. We also took them on the first sled rides. Individually at first, then as a group. I think they had a good time. Although daddy may have been a little over zealous with the first try...

Time to suit up!

Now time to explore the great outdoors... where's the snow?

Ah Ha! There it is!
Full Speed Ahead!

All together now...

...and we're done, lets go inside and get some hot chocolate.

Just Pictures

Since we've been a little sick lately. Haven't felt like doing much of anything so here are a few photos. They are a little old, but I'm sure you will enjoy them none the less.

Everything Goes Better With Coke?

One fine winter afternoon three little-ones set upon an adventure in the wilds of the upstairs.

"Ahoy!" proclaimed Zoie, "I spot a bounty of beverages ripe for the pickin's. Ahead in yonder dining room sits an unguarded 12 pack of Coke! Madison cover Audrey while she scouts for the big people who horde our diapers while I make my way to the treasure."

What they did not expect was that the "big people", armed with surveillance gear, were in fact monitoring the situation at a safe distance and captured every move the ZAM gang were about to make...

"I don't see what all the fuss is about. These cylinders are worthless! I can't believe that we wasted our time and energy venturing past the great hallway to get our hands on these silly devices. Ok girls... girls? Oh for goodness sake put the can down and retreat back to the family room before they notice we're missing."

"Cheers Mate!" Cried Madison, "I'm not sure what that means but I think this calls for a toast or a sandwich or whatever. Maybe we should just use them to pound on the floor and make lots of noise!"

"Negative sister, this can may just have a passive security system rigged in the bottom bevel." Audrey observed. "Stall the big people while I try to pick the lock."

"I think I've done it! Oh wait... nothing happened. This must be a defective batch of cans."

"Well I don't think they're defective... they're pretty!"

"Oh good grief could you two get your tails in gear so that we don't get grounded until we're 40!?!
Get it together girls, we'll meet back at the playmat at zero fourteen hundred hours."

Getting Into Trouble

Yesterday came down from eating my lunch only to find the twins in the Goodwill bucket. They managed to use the exercise bike to climb into the plastic bins.

In which they knocked off items from the desk, aka the candy dish, mouse and hairspray.
The candy dish had M&Ms in it. Thank goodness it was a warm day yesterday otherwise we would have had melted M&Ms on the heat registers.

Zoie, Madison & Dad Playing

Scott playing with Zoie and Madison last night.
I don't think they were having any fun.
What do you think?
