Just Pictures

I've been asked to post more pictures, so here is a bunch from the month of April. I did take some pictures today, but I think I will save those for their own special post.

So we will start oldest to newest, this will force you to scroll all the way down. Be sure to pay attention you never know what might be tossed in here.

April 3

Super Audrey!
I put her little hoodie on her like it was a cape and she thought it was the greatest thing. She ran around the room with the cutest little grin. Here she is protecting Zoie from the blinds.

Zoie you are now safe, go back to enjoying the beautiful view while I find something else to save.

Madison found the beanie lying on the floor and put it upon her head. As you can see she didn't get it all the way on, but she was proud of herself nonetheless.

Uncle Bret was here and was taking pictures, she wasn't hamming it up or anything for the camera.

April 6

I have been opening the hallway/laundry room to the girls for extra space to roam. I usually then toss Baxter's bed in there to give them something soft to play on since it is concrete. So Zoie decided to take full advantage of the situation. These are just two of the eight shots I took of her on the bed. She has so many faces and poses it was hard to choose.

(this is one of the onesies from Grandma Donna that they received on their first birthday, Zoie is finally in 12 month clothes)

April 6
Apparently there have been some requests for pictures of mommy, so here is one that Scott took of me sewing. Yes I have taking up sewing to help pass the time while I'm healing. I have completed three dresses with bloomers so far (as of 4/19). I have three more cut out, but they go fast now.

April 11

The weather was wonderful, I think it was in the high 60's. So we were playing outside. They like this little planter pot because there usually is water in the plate. Madison and Audrey also enjoy tasting the rocks. Zoie not a big taste tester, she knows what food is and tends to stick to that.

I also took off the girls shoes to see how they would do in the grass and they loved it. They even walked across the rocks. Although after a little while Zoie decided that she would rather have her shoes on. But Audrey and Madison love going barefoot outside.

Just in case you need some help, Audrey on the left, Madison in the middle, and Zoie on the right.

April 12 - "Happy Easter"

We were invited to Billie & Blaine's house for Easter and we went. Unfortunately, Scott's dad was still in the hospital recovering from his surgery so he was unable to join us. It was nice we had ham, beans, salad, fruit, Easter bunny cake and brownies. The girls wore their super fancy dresses in the morning and then we changed to cotton dresses in the afternoon. They didn't really hunt for eggs, but we did get them Easter baskets with stuffed animals (courtesy of Great Grandpa Dean & Janice and Uncle Bret & Aunt Janet), plastic eggs filled with animal crackers, and Mega Blocks (pink & purple of course from the Easter Bunny).

Anywho, I could go on and on about the days events, but I'll just move into the videos. The morning was a little chilly and the girls wanted to go outside. So here are a couple videos of them playing/dancing around the back door.

April 14

April showers, yeah we've had a few. This one was actually kind of warm (high 50's) so I bundled up the girls and we went outside. What kid wouldn't love puddles right? Right, my girls think anything having to do with water is fantastic. Splash, splash, splash.

Zoie fell backwards right into a puddle, she didn't even notice, she just stood back up and went about her business. Like I said water is a wonderful thing!

April 20

Daddy day! Yesterday I was feeling pretty spunky so I asked Scott to watch the girls while I went and started priming some walls next door. These are some of the darling pictures he took.

Audrey, "Daddy look at these daffodils, aren't they pretty!"

Audrey, "Now only if I could figure out how to pick one?"

Madison, "Daddy what are you doing? Put me down, don't make fun of me, that's not nice daddy, and wait you took a picture too, just wait I will get you for this."

Madison, "Okay maybe another day since you gave me this lovely flower to play with, I forgive you."

Zoie, "Awe what a beautiful day daddy, don't you think?"

Walking Critters

Everyone has been wondering if the girls are walking, and yes that is their only mode of transportation anymore. This was taken a couple days before Easter, when the weather was just oh so wonderful. We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter.

We need to send a shout out to Uncle Bert and Great Grandpa Dean "Happy Birthday".

Gizmo

The girls love the animals, but the animals are still weary of them. With the exception of Gizmo. That cat just loves attention any that he may get. This is a little view of what was going on a couple days ago when Gizmo decided to hang out with the girls and me.

In Other News:

1. Scott's dad had his surgery yesterday and seems to be recovering well. He'll either come home Saturday or Sunday it depends on how good he feels.

2. I'm feeling much better, almost to the point that I feel 95% healed. So now I have to really be aware of the fact that I'm not supposed to pick up the girls, so far so good.

Since I was in the hospital I have gotten a little behind on posting. These are some pictures that I was going to post from one Sunday after church. I think these were from March 22.

I had bought some maryjane style flats and they were a little big on Audrey and Madison, and fit Zoie perfect. But as you can see they make better play toys than actual shoes.

I think Aunt Liane taught Zoie how to have tantrums, because she has already got the lay down and cry thing down. She hasn't started kicking her feet quite yet, but I'm sure that will follow soon. It makes for a fun picture, and no she didn't get what she wanted.

On another note; I'm doing well. As Scott said as it approaches two weeks and I start feeling better it is going to get harder and harder for me not to pick up the girls. I'm trying my best, but hey I'm a mom and sometimes that instinct just kicks in.

Scott's dad is scheduled for back surgery on Thursday, and goes in on Wednesday for surgery prep. So if you could all keep him in your prayers to get him through this surgery safely it would be greatly appreciated.

Love you all and miss you bunches.
