Last 10 Days

The last week and a half have been busy. I've finished another dress for Halloween, canned 17 jars of apples, did Mom's of Multiples Club (MOMC) "Pumpkin Patch" outing, MOMC ladies night out, MOMC playgroup, helped prepare Mom Weston/Our garden for next year and of course all the measly stuff that needs to be done (house work, laundry, dishes, etc.). I tell you the time just gets away from you.

Meanwhile, Scott helped with the garden (he did most of the work, replaced the front rotors and brakes on the Minivan, repaired the plumbing in the bathtub, went with us to the pumpkin patch (so did Aunt Debbie), picked up leaves from Mom and Dad Weston's house, helped with the housely chores and snuck in a little sleep in the mean time. Since the poor guy is still on graveyards. Which Bresnan has decided to go to permanent shifts, but nobody knows what they are getting yet. Let's hope and pray for morning shift.

So we'll jump back to Oct. 15. The weather was pleasant so we spend some time outside.

The girls like to take the partial wooden bike for a walk.

Play on the hill in front of the house.

Sit in the tree that I only have trimmed about half of it.

Zoie got down on her own. I put her there and she figured out how to get down.
They just amaze me all the time.

Climb the ladder that mommy left out from trimming the tree.

"You want me to get down, make me"

Played on one of the misc. pieces of equipment in the backyard.

Madison likes it.

Zoie likes it.

Audrey "Mommy get me off of this thing"

On her way back from something to play on the "tractor".

Another nice day Oct 16.

Walking down the driveway to go get the mail.

On our way back to the house, stopped and played in the front yard that has grass on it.

Then had to go play on our mound of dirt.

Madison like to lay down and look up at the sky.

Audrey thought that that looked like a good idea.

Zoie playing peek-a-boo.

Then I'm wondering if she has already picked out her first car.

Audrey & Madison had to go see what Zoie was doing in the trees.

Can you believe we had a day in the low 70's (Oct. 17). It was wonderful. So I figured I put the rompers on that I made just a few weeks before. I know there a little long. Should have made the elastic fit around the legs, but hey, I'm still learning.

Went to Grammy's house even though she wasn't there, but for a change of scenery.

Another 70 day (Oct. 18). This was the day of the MOMC "Pumpkin Patch". This was in the morning our normal outside time when the weather is nice.

Zoie in pigtails, doesn't that make her look like a little girl.
So cute but so not ready for that yet.

This is the start of our "Pumpkin Patch" outing.
These are some of the families that are in the group.
I'm the only one with triplets, but there are two moms that have two sets of twins.
I don't think either one were at the outing though.

A Bear painting that the girls just loved.

Zoie get trying to figure out how to climb the pumpkin, but was not sucessful.

Madison checking out the chili peppers.

Zoie playing with the decorations in the green house where tables for food/snacks were set up.

Audrey found a squash to carry around.

Then the bucket of squash looked like more fun.

So much fun that Zoie had to join by getting in the bucket next to her.

Madison in the corn maze.

After the corn maze, Audrey was like now what. We have done cart rides, hay rides, and a corn maze what more fun things can we do.

Is anyone listening to me?

Zoie found a small pumpkin to carry around, but we couldn't keep it. It was apparently not a good pumpkin and would not make it to halloween.

This was so funny, I put a pumkin next to Madison and she got scared.

But only for a moment then she discovered that it was something that you can play with and life was better.

After we got home and had dinner. The girls were still a little wound up, and the weather was still very nice outside so we took a little evening stroll. Picked up some wind fallen apples and fed "Chance" the neighbors horse.

Oct. 19. Don't remember what we did this day, but I was making breakfast and the girls were playing with the suitcase (the small carry on one) and happened to get themselves in it.

Oct. 20.

Audrey found some socks laying around and decided that she needed to put them on.
This was an action shot as you can tell.

After lunch we had our first ice cream cones. I just put the ice cream in the cone so no mess on top. They really enjoyed them.

Oct. 21. This was one of the nice days last week. We were on our way to go finish the garden deconstruction.

Audrey in her cowgirl boots.

Madison in her cowgirl boots.

Zoie helping daddy take down corn stalks.
No boots on Zoie they are just too big right now.

Madison didn't feel like working, she went on her own adventure.

Audrey checking out what was still left in the garden to help us make a plan.

Decided to help daddy and Zoie.

Madison was just staring at something by the tree. So I took the picture and went to investigate. It was doggie doodie. At least she didn't play with it.

After we took out a bunch of stuff we decided to go get the tractor with the small trailer so we could haul the stuff to the ditch. The girls of course had to ride.

Pulled the blanket out of the cart. The girls thought it was a good place to take a rest.

And so did Baxter.

The girls found the tractor to be quite the fun little toy.

Oct. 23.
Snack time. I haven't had a chance to put the wipes away yet, so the girls like to eat their snacks while sitting on it. In addition, Audrey had Zoie's boots on, and it was just too cute to pass up on a picture.
