Picture Time

Same old routine these days. YMCA on M,W & F, play dates on Thursdays and we have been spending more time with our friends. The kids are starting to say each others names now so that is cute. On Monday I only took Audrey to the Y (Mad & Zo were sick so they stayed with Grammy) and she was having a hard time in Child Watch by herself. She was crying a lot so Emmit (one of Carol's boys) kept bringing her toys and telling her it was okay. How sweet is that.

The girls and I have been fighting with a cold for a week now. We are on the uphill battle of it though. They have been sleeping so great. Sleeping til 8 or 9, taking at least a 2 hour nap, I've been spoiled. So we'll see what next week has in store when they are all better and loaded with energy.

Sunday we are having a small gathering at our house. We are going to do an Easter Egg Hunt/Dying party here. Everyone bring dinner/snacks if they want. Hopefully the weather holds out. It supposed to be 60. Which most of you Arizonan's are probably thinking that is cold, but it is perfect weather. Especially when the sun in shining.

Scott is just about half way through with the Reserve Training and is loving it. He actually has this Sunday off and next weekend too. Yeah us!! Not sure what we will do on Easter Sunday. Probably church, hide some eggs, and have dinner at his parent's house. I didn't make their dresses because I thought I was going to get to come to AZ (boo hoo :( ) so I just bought them.

So here are some pictures for you to love.

March 11 - Bedtime

Audrey, I ask her to smile and this is what she does. I just love it.

Caught Madison smiling.

Zoie this was the best smile we could capture.

March 12 - Erma's girls came over to play.

Danielle riding the tractor. Remind you of anyone else who likes to stick their tongue out when they get their picture taken.

MacKenzie with such a sweet smile.

Zoie playing peek-a-boo with a tractor tire.

Madison trying to figure out if she could climb it or not. She was not successful.

Then we ventured over to the sandbox and played their til it was time to leave.

Erma had bubbles with her and she was blowing them for the girls, they loved them. So did Logan he was jumping and trying to eat them. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. I think I forgot I had the camera. I'm really bad about that. Sorry!

March 13 - St. Patrick's Day Parade

We went to the parade in the morning, then on our way home had lunch, and then went to the ice cream shop. The parade pictures weren't to exciting, but these were pretty cute.

March 14 - Attempt at Potty Training

So I tried 1/2 day to do potty training. It is really hard to keep three children on the potty for longer than 30 seconds. They each have their own potty chair and they all look the same, but I don't think they are quite ready for that yet. They do like the panties though. So maybe in a few more weeks we will try again.

March 15 - Outside Time

The girls really like playing in this tree and they are getting especially good at climbing it (and other things too).

At some point Audrey had taken off her shoes. By the time I realized it her socks were caked in dirt/mud/other, so I just let her run around in her socks. I think she was having a great time.

Not sure what Madison was looking at, but I just love the look of curiosity on her face.

Logan had crawled under the jeep there and that is what Madison is looking at. Then she thought it was a good idea to follow and so did Audrey. Logan is a bad influence.

Zoie just loves dirt. She was tossing it on herself, the sidewalk and just into the air.

March 18 - Audrey with mommy's hat

I was putting away laundry and had my closet door open. Audrey found my hat and put it on. Of course we couldn't get the camera fast enough, but we did manage to get this shot with I think is still pretty dang cute.

Thursday

This week started out crazy. Monday went to the Y. They said Audrey had diarrhea so we couldn't go back for at least 24 hours. She never pooped the rest of the day so hard to say what happened there. Then Madison and Zoie did have it on Tuesday. And the girls decided to not take naps on Tuesday. Wednesday Grandma watched Zoie and Madison (just to be on the safe side) and I took Audrey to swim lessons (which she loves) and worked out with my mom pals. It was hard and fun all at the same time. Then the girls decided not to take a nap again. They were extra cranky yesterday afternoon.

This morning was our play date. We went to that and Zoie was just a stinker today. She hit Emmit, bit Danielle and took a car from Aidyn. I don't know what came over her. She is usually my social butterfly. Now I'm fighting with them to take their nap again today. I know they are tired and they need it, but what do you do? So here's to hoping that they go down in the next few minutes. If it gets to close to 2:30 I won't let them nap at that point. Then bed time become 9 PM and I think that is worse. Today after play date we came home and played with Play-Doh for the first time. I think they like it. We played with it for almost an hour. Which that is good for them for an indoor activity.
(I had to go lay with Madison and Audrey fell asleep while I was doing that, yeah nap time!!!!!)

Tomorrow we'll head off to the gym. I will hit the Boot Camp class then maybe some more cardio. Then comes the weekend. Have no plans and the weather is supposed to be yucky. If it is going to be nice I might try to con people into helping take the girls to the St. Patty's Day parade, but we'll see what they say tomorrow about Saturday.

These are the only pictures taken since I last posted. Sorry, I just get so busy I forget to take pictures. Plus when we are inside the pictures just aren't as good as outside ones. I'll try to take pictures.
Madison loving Gizmo.

Girls playing with Play-Doh.
(Thank you Diane for the aprons. I know we are going to get a ton of mileage out of them.)

Hope that everyone is doing well. If you have time send us a note via e-mail, Facebook or just comment below. We miss everyone and wonder about you all the time (that goes for family & friends). Take care and have a great weekend. Oh by the way we switch to Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, so we will be an hour ahead.

Busy Bee's

The last week has been super busy.
  • Monday was YMCA with swim lessons for Audrey, then mommy worked out.
  • Tuesday we went to the zoo with Grammy. Had fun feeding the ducks, peacocks, and chickens. The only other active animals were the otters. Everyone else was sleeping.
  • Wednesday was swim lessons again, then I tortured a couple of the moms from my MOMC's group with a leg and arm workout. Then we came home and played outside. Couldn't resist the weather has just been beautiful.
  • Thursday was the MOMC's playgroup, then came home and played with daddy. Scott was putting together their beds. I was scared because of all the horror stories and worries of other parents who have and have not done it yet, but to my surprise it has been almost better.
  • Friday went to the YMCA as a family. I did my thing, Scott did his, we picked up the girls from child watch, let them play in the gym. Went home they took a nap then we went back into town to look for tennis shoes. Haven't found any yet, but we'll keep looking.
  • Saturday went to Grammy's house and played outside in the sandbox, played with our swing and slide. Then came home to nap. Had dinner then I went out with my neighbor Debbie and her sisters to celebrate her birthday.
  • Today (Sunday) the girls, Grammy and I went to church. And it all starts again tomorrow.
This is also the first weekend of Sheriff Reserve Training for Scott. He seems to be having a good time. So between the YMCA stuff and his training the next two months should fly by faster than we may want.

Hope that everyone is healthy and doing well. I was thinking that maybe we need to start planning a family party/camping trip maybe for next summer. I was thinking maybe Utah or Colorado, that way we don't have to travel as far and we all get to see something new (or at least some of us). If you think it sounds like a good idea e-mail me and if I get enough response we'll start working on it.

The girls had gotten in to their hat/mitten drawer. Audrey put the hat, mittens and Zoie's boots on then got on the horse. The hat wasn't on straight, but I just loved the shot.

This was the day we went to the zoo. The peacock was in the parking lot, the girls were just having a blast feeding him, that it was hard to convince them to go inside to see more.

Inside the Children's Zoo section. Zoie and Madison feeding the ducks.

This was Wednesday afternoon just playing outside.

Check out our muddy butts.

Audrey decided to lay down and chew a piece of grass. Where do the learn these things?

Zoie was wandering what was so tasty about the grass.

Madison thought she would try to lay down, but she just couldn't put her head down.

This was Thursday after we got home from play group. The girls were in their room playing nicely at least that's what we thought. Audrey had climbed up on the changing table to the armoire and got a hold of the butt cream. I guess they thought their faces needed some moisture protection.

Thursday night first night of toddler beds.
