Earth Day

On Earth Day we planted some trees that Scott had picked up the week before at Costco. Three spruce trees and hopefully they will survive. After that nice week of weather we have had a cold spell. As a matter of fact we woke up to snow this morning. It was all melted before lunch, but has rained/snowed all day off and on. Who knows what tonight brings. Anyway, here are the pictures of the girls planting their first set of trees. (We did plant a cherry tree about a month earlier so technically that was their first.)

The girls started pulling the cart down the lane and I had to run in the house and grab the camera. Otherwise we wouldn't have any pictures. Thank goodness they do extra cute things that remind me to get the camera.

Uncle Blaine stopped out while we were planting. He helped me show the girls a worm, because I won't touch them. Then he had to get a drink of water with the girls. I'm surprised that they didn't get him wet.

Not sure what Madison was thinking. She decided to lick the shovel. She realized it didn't taste good, but that didn't stop her from shoveling more mud into the bucket.

Warm Day in April

On one of warm days in April (70+ degrees) we put on our sun dresses and headed over to Grammy's house. There we walked along the ditch bank, visited the cows, came back to ditch to watch for duckies, played in sand box, got wet, took nap, had to change outfits since morning ones were still wet, played with chalk, and just had a wonderful day.

Zoie on fallen tree. I thought this was just so cute.

I caught them splashing water, always think that is cool in a picture.

They put themselves in the towel like that.

This was after nap time, new outfits. They were holding hands and running around.
