Walking to Grammy's on Carrie's Birthday

The weather was mild and the girls wanted to go to Grammy's so we opted to walk. They played in the snow all the way there. It was very slow moving, but fun was had by all.  Since it was Aunt Carrie's birthday, we practiced singing "Happy Birthday" while we were walking.

Madison is int he Pink Boots & Purple Striped Hat,
Audrey in Black Boots & Pink Striped Hat, &
Zoie in Princess Boots & Black Striped Hat

Zoie's striped hat wouldn't stay on so I gave her mine.

Sneaky Girls (Dec 18)

Yay, Mom went to town and left Dad in charge. So while he's off checking football scores, he'll never hear us pulling dining room chairs into the kitchen. I think there were some Christmas goodies up on the kitchen island.

Here Zoie, let me know if this one has a caramel, cream or fruit center.

Caramel! Perfect that's the one I want.

Heyyyy... that's a yucky fruit filling, not caramel!

If you like it YOU CAN HAVE IT!!!

Now then, who wants some coffee?

MOMC Christmas Party

So while mom and Carrie were here we had our Moms of Multiples Christmas Party. Carrie went with me to help set everything up and mom, Grammy, Scott and girls were to follow shortly.  To my surprise my darling little girls took a nap. There just be something special about Grandmother's laps.

Santa came to hand out some presents at the party. The girls were so cute. Zoie's present came out first (as far as for our girls). Madison was very concerned at that point for her present. She went up to Santa and the dialogue was something as follows:

    Madison: "Where is my present?"
Santa: "I bet there is one in here, were you a good girl"
Madison: "I'm Madison, where's my present (said very nicely and with big ????)?"
Santa, found a present and pulled it out, read the tag: "Audrey"
So at this point Madison was really getting concerned.
Madison: "Do you have a present for Madison"
Santa: "Let me see if I can find one" he reached in and low and behold he found her present.
Santa: "Madison, here is your present."
Madison: took the present started to walk away, then turned around and said "Thank you"

I think everyone at the party was utterly entertained by her. She just wasn't going to leave Santa alone til she had her present. She was the most vocal kid with Santa too.

A great time was had by all.  The worst part of the day was that I had to take mom and Carrie to the airport as soon as it was done. We miss them very much, and all our family and friends in Arizona.

Start of December Pictures

We just got home from picking out our Christmas tree. The girls were so excited. We found three Santa hats and was able to get them to leave the hats on and take some cute pictures.  These were a couple of my favorites.

This is my second try at sugar cookies. The first try earlier in the year was not successful. This one was successful. The girls had so much fun. Madison was very meticulous with hers, and she could hardly wait between turns.

The next day we made some frosting and decorated our cookies. Madison like to just glob it all on one cookie. Audrey just put little drops on each cookie and then she was done. Zoie would decorate one then eat it, decorate then eat, so mommy put a stop to that.

I'm not sure where Audrey was, but came around the corner to see Madison had snuggled up on Zoie's lap. This was the cutest of the group of pictures that I took of them.
