It's been a while since we've talked! Sorry for being away so long so let me fill you in on all the activity that has taken place in the past month or two. Among the "not pictured" events would include.
Zoie having her tonsils removed. She is quite the trooper and her recovery was awesome. She now pretty much sleeps through the night and the snoring is gone.
A Mother's day that was pretty lackluster as I started the day by digging up about a dozen lilac shrubs from my neighbors yard then I was called out to search for a missing boater on the Yellowstone River, I got home at 6pm so Krista said she'd take a rain-check.
I turned 35, Krista and I went out with some friends/family for dinner and drinks.
I had my tonsils removed... I doubt if my recovery will go as smoothly as Zoie's... but I can hope!
We are looking forward to visits from Carrie and Paul here in a little less than 2 weeks, then Deana and Liane join them a week later!
March 27th we packed up and took a day trip to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman.

New Puppy!
Ugg, after Opus passed away we've had a heck of a time finding another dog. We lost Pepper to a truck, then Logan, as cute as he was, never bonded with us and would take off the second he got a chance. The last straw for him is when he got into the neighbors pasture and started running with the cows when they were starting to calf. The neighbors informed us that the next time Logan crossed onto their property they would shoot him. We knew that there was no way that we could guarantee that he would stay in the yard and now that the girls can open the doors, it was getting increasingly difficult to keep track of him. On 3/19 I was able to find him a new home with an owner in town that has a fenced yard and needed a jogging companion in the morning. He took right to her, I'm sure that he is in good hands. About 2 months later, we found a 6 week old German Shepherd puppy. The mom has markings like Baxter and has a wonderful temperament, so we decided to try again. We named him Zer0 (Jack's dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas). From the moment we loaded him into the minivan, Audrey proclaimed, "that's MY puppy" and sure enough, it seems like he has taken to her more than Zoie or Madison. He is a good pup and has fit right into the chaos that is our family.

Hiking at Woodbine
Sunday we took a quick trip up to the Woodbine Campground to scout a place to put the camper here in a few weeks. We found a trail and took a quick hike to stretch the legs and enjoy a warm spring afternoon.
