February Update

So much has happened since my last post. Although nothing exciting, I suppose that is why I haven't really posted anything. We had the girls birthday party. It was small but fun. I experimented with a cake. I think it turned out good. The girls have been healthy for at least a couple weeks now, yeah. We have gone to a few play groups, I had a party at our house for the moms, went to Cody, WY one day, been trying to get to church, and well that is about it.

The girls are two and boy did the biting, hair pulling and pushing ever come back with such force. They all have quite the temper on them. But they are also just so totally sweet. If one is really upset they will come over and give a hug or pat on the back and say its okay. The other day we were at Grammy's house and she asked Zoie for a hug (we were leaving) Zoie went and gave her a hug. Then I told Audrey to give Grammy a hug and she did then when she got to the door she said and waved bye-bye. Then I asked Madison to give Grammy a hug and she did it too. I tell you it was so dang cute.

Finally starting going to the YMCA regularly and have maintained their health. We (Girls and I) are going Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This week we started swim lessons. Its a parent-child class so I can only do one at a time. I started with Audrey since she is the most comfortable laying down in the tub right now. The other two are getting better. The class went well. She really likes to pull herself out and slide back in (on the wall that is, no under water stuff). Scott's been going to, but he goes after work.

The girls are learning more and more words everyday. Sometimes they just blabber though and we have no idea what they are saying. I'm sure soon enough we won't be able to keep them quiet.

Scott's and my anniversary is in two days. We will have been married for 11 years and together for 15. It is amazing how time flies. I'm not sure what we'll do. Maybe on Thursday or Friday we'll take in a movie and go to dinner.

Tomorrow is the last super nice day it seems for a while. It is supposed to be 58, so I think the girls, Grammy and myself are going to head to the zoo for a picnic, watch the animals and just general playtime.

The girls have taken to playing with their blankets. Madison (with mommies help) folded the dog bed over so she had more padding to lay down. Then Zoie decided to join in on the fun. Audrey wanted to too, but there was just no more room.

These are the most recent outfits that I have completed. The white part is just a onesie, since it was still cold here. The pants were supposed to be shorts, but I improvised and turned them into pants.

The girls were being good and just happened to peek in to see what they were doing and Audrey was sitting in their kitchen sink.

Later that day the girls had used the piano bench to get to the wall. So we were playing peek-a-boo. They were just being so cute I figured perfect picture opportunity.

The girls like to play dress up. I guess I'm going to have to make a couple trips to Goodwill to find some dress up clothes for the girls to play with. The beads were some that I had and she put on one of the snow boots, what fashion sense.

One morning waiting for breakfast, the girls got into their mitten drawer. I think Zoie really wanted to go outside. Good thing the weather got better.

Madison was ready to walk Logan.

Madison had taken off her pants and put on her tennis shoes. I think she is ready for summer.

Madison had fallen asleep on the floor one night. Audrey and Madison have taken to knocking on the door when they should be in bed. Me being the persistent person that I am, let them do it for a little while. It got quiet so I figured they went back to bed. Nope Audrey was sitting behind the door and Madison had fallen asleep.
