Pictures from March

These are pictures from when the girls received the Easter package from Great Grandpa Dean and Janice.

These are from March 27. Zoie was snoozing with Baxter.

The girls actually let me do their hair this day too.

These are from March 28, we hosted an Easter Party at our house. A few of the families from my group came. It was perfect weather and company.

This is the Easter bunny cake I made, and the whole thing is from scratch!
White cake and the frosting was called white mountain frosting, tasted like marshmallow cream, but better.

In this picture, the man in maroon sweatshirt is Jim - Carol's husband (she is in the red sweatshirt), Heather in the blue sweatshirt.

Zoie, she would pick up the eggs and shake them. If the didn't rattle she put it back on the ground. She was looking for chocolate only.

Audrey, she would open the eggs take it out and eat it or play with it. But after a little convincing she finally grasped the concept of find the eggs then open them later.

The man ducking is Barry - Heather's husband.

Madison completely got the egg hunt right off the bat. Find the eggs then open them later, but she did like to show off her finds.

All the kids were between 18 months - 2 1/2 years old, and we dyed eggs. It actually went surprisingly well. The kids enjoyed it and didn't dump any of the cups. But I think having parents for each kid really helped with that.

I'll post the actually Easter pictures in a day or two. I only have 45 pictures picked out, so I'll do that post separately. Hope everyone is happy and healthy, and we miss you all.

  2. We got to help Nevaeh color eggs and it was so much fun. I didn't feel the stress as I did when the boys were young and I was the one who had to clean up and take care of things. It was nice to watch, help, hug, kiss, laugh and then go home. Ha ha though I would love to live with all the grandkids and just feel the joy I feel when I am with them. Aunt P.
