After the ballgame we headed to a local chain restaurant, CB & Potts, for dinner. Thursdays are the unofficial "kids night" and there happened to be a balloon artist wandering the tables. The girls asked for ponies (big surprise, not) and he proceeded to make 3 huge balloon ponies that were a big hit with the girls.

| All ready to ride. |
| Nice place, kid friendly and the food was good! |
| Just about bedtime... time to put the pony in it's stable. |
Friday we hit the Children's Museum. We had heard mixed reviews about the museum but it won out over the zoo (we'll do that next time). The Children's Museum was a lot of fun, we spent most of the day there and didn't get to play with everything. The amount of hands-on activities and exhibits was awesome. They painted, danced, played in the bubble room, launched paper rockets, took turns in the grocery store, built projects in the workshop and took in story time.

One more night in the hotel and then it was time to head for home.
| Daddy was taking too long to get their toothbrushes ready so Audrey and Zoie pulled out the towel box and climbed up to take matters into their own hands. |
| The hotel we stayed in (The Curtis) was full of fun things to see and do. This over sized Connect 4 game was in the meeting area on the 3rd floor. |
| On the way home, Audrey entertained us with a game of "smell my feet". |
Very cool, Scott.
ReplyDeleteNice adventure for the family.
