February odds and ends

2013 is off to a quick start. I was hoping by now to have taken the girls up to Red Lodge Mountain to get their 1st ski lessons under their belts but a round of pneumonia, and a recurrence pretty much knocked me out for this season. We've managed to have some fun nonetheless! There have been a couple breaks in the winter weather, enough for the girls to go outside and play which provided a nice balance to the indoor activities like coloring, playing ponies/barbies, cartoons and leapster video games. We also went to the ice rink and the girls and I got to try ice skating for the 1st time. Go figure that the one born and raised in Arizona was the only one who had gone ice skating before! It was a success I think and everyone enjoyed themselves.
